X-Ray Tech Location: Seattle, WA Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $58 to $62 per hour Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Location: Burien, WA Start Date: 04-20-2026 End Date: 07-20-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Saturday-Monday, 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM (day shift) with on-call as needed; 12-hour shift pattern (orientation: one week, Monday-Friday day shift) Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour About United Health Care Staffing At United Health Care Staffing (UHC Staffing), we believe healthcare staffing should be more than just finding a job. Roles & Responsibilities Perform general X-ray studies efficiently and accurately to support timely patient care Operate fluoroscopy and OR imaging equipment with attention to safety and protocol Provide ED and portable X-ray services as needed, adapting quickly to urgent situations Maintain high standards of radiation safety; use and track personal radiation badge Accurately document studies and patient interactions in EPIC and McKesson PACS Collaborate with nursing staff and radiology leadership to ensure smooth department flow Assist with positioning and patient care to produce diagnostic quality images Qualifications Washington Radiologic Technologist License required at time of submittal ARRT (R) certification required BLS (AHA) certification required Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience Traveler must provide their own radiation badge; facility will not provide one ED X-ray and Surgery/OR imaging experience highly preferred Comfortable with on-call duties and weekend-focused schedule Education ARRT (R) certification (Certified Radiologic Technologist) required Washington Radiologic Technologist License required BLS (AHA) certification required Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of general X-ray and fluoroscopy techniques Experience with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS workflows Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment Excellent patient positioning and communication skills Solid radiation safety practices and badge monitoring Ability to perform portable imaging and work in acute care settings Benefits Supportive team environment where your skills are recognized and appreciated Generous travel reimbursement and housing support for contract clinicians Licensure assistance and reimbursement to help you stay current Medical, dental, and vision offerings to keep you healthy Paid time off so you can recharge between assignments Simple credentialing support and streamlined onboarding Access to continuing education and professional development resources A welcoming workplace that provides scrubs and practical on-site perks Travel Perks: Explore Burien, WA Burien sits on the shores of Puget Sound with easy access to Seahurst Park for beach walks and sunset views.
