Analyst (DFA) to join Team Polaris, which is DaVita's field
organization for all dialysis operations in Washington, Oregon,
Northern California, Utah and Nevada. -The ideal candidate for this

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related area required
- 2+ years finance-oriented analytic experience required
- Expert-level computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel
required
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint
- Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the various
stakeholders
- Self-starter with ability to think and work independently and
problem solveThe following is a brief overview of the expected
roles and responsibilities of this Division Finance Analyst
position.Financial and Operating Results:
- Distributes monthly P&L "snapshots" and other related
reports as needed; performs follow-up analysis and responds to
questions from the field
- Evaluates the P&L and related Operating reports to create
"actionable insights" for Facility Administrators (FA), Regional
Operating Directors (ROD), and DVPs to improve operating
results
- Analyzes variance to budget for all line-items with an
unfavorable variance for the month, and provide analyses for the
Monthly Financial Review (MFR) rollup to the Group Finance Director
(GFD)
- Provides weekly/bi-weekly and monthly reporting for P&L
focus areas
- Reviews and monitors Capital Expense requests from all
facilities and the accuracy of central reports
- Support P&L focus area reviews and coordination of cost
improvement activities with regional teamsBudgeting and Planning:
- Assists with facility-level budgeting and planning, including
preparation of trend and variance analyses at facility, region, and
division level
- Supports Facility Administrators (FA) and Regional Operating
Directors (ROD) on budget processes as needed
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables with FA, ROD,
GFD/Finance, and others in the Operations Group
- Maintains the integrity of the final budget workbooks for each
facility by ensuring continuous updates are made; research and
address questionsGrowth and Partner-of-Choice Initiatives:
- Supports Division Finance Managers (DFM) and RODs with
financial analysis and models for proposed new facilities,
expansions, and relocations
- Supports DFMs, RODs, and GFD with analysis for JV Partnership
performance and preparation for quarterly meetingsSpecial
Projects/Other:
- Implements and tracks best demonstrated practices and
continuous improvement projects
- Participates in divisional training and communication
- Travel required: up to 5%
- May perform other duties as assignedThis position is

development, special projects, and providing detailed revenue
valuation analysis to ensure departmental goals and objectives are

transaction analysis, account reconciliation and preparing
financial reports for corporate and field operations management,
