Polaris is DaVita's field organization for all dialysis operations
in Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Utah and Nevada
covering 350+ locations and $1.3B+ revenue operations.We are
currently seeking aDivision Finance Manager(DFM) to join Team
Polaris.In this role, you will provide comprehensive financial
planning and analysis as well as capital management of a $250 -
$300 million operation. This role will require you to be
accountable for proactively driving operational and financial
performance by leveraging best practices, analyzing trends,
identifying root causes to problems, and embedding controls in key
processes. The DFM will report directly to the Group Finance
Director of Team Polaris.The role will be based in the Team Polaris
headquarters in Federal Way, WA with an expectation forHybrid work
schedule.Skills for success include: strong communication &
interpersonal skills, ability to perform in ambiguous environment,
ability to challenge, cross group collaboration, conflict
negotiation and resolution, and operate in a fast-paced
environment.The following is a brief overview of the expected roles
and responsibilities of this position.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
- Overall:Act as the strategic leader and CFO for assigned
divisions
- Thought leader:Interpret data, develop solutions, and
effectively communicate recommendations to senior leadership
- Process leader:Drive accountability to action plans committed
by the Divisional Vice President and divisional leadership
team
- Coach less quantitatively oriented leaders and teammates on how
to manage a P&L and leverage data to drive growth and achieve
operational excellence
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Proactively identify trends in financial results through
analyses of financial results, variance to budget, tracking to
forecast, etc. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Lead annual budgeting process across the division
- Communicate financial results of joint venture facilities to
DaVita's physician partners
- Operations Analytics:In partnership with the clinical and
operational leadership team, drive improvements in key performance
metrics across the division, including:
- Prepare detailed analyses and make recommendations to manage
ongoing performance
- Identify, validate and launch innovative methods to enhance
operational efficiency
- Growth Strategy & Management:In partnership with operators and
Strategy Director, develop and lead strategic analyses to drive
growth and profitability across the division, including:
- Develop multi-year forecast for divisional growth
- Analyze existing and whitespace markets to identify
opportunities to expand DaVita's presence
- Recommend multi-million dollar capital expenditures for new
clinics to serve future patient needs
- Partner with business development, legal, real estate, and
other teams to manage execution of growth plans (including
build-out and launch of new clinics)
- Other strategic, operational, financial or special projects as
needed
- Supervisory responsibilities: no
- Expected to travel up to 15% of the timeMinimum Qualifications
- Strong alignment with Davita Mission and Core Values (Service

- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
- 2 years minimum work experience, preferably in strategy or
corporate finance roles
- Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, the
relationships among them and the underlying business operations
they represent
- Experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods,
such as operations analytics, financial forecasting, valuation
analyses, etc.
- Successful track record of presenting to executive leadership
preferred
- Expert level computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft
Office: Excel (expert), PowerPoint (advanced), Word and Outlook

Range$75,200.00-$110,400.00 / yearCompensation for the role will
