ABOUT CASCADE: Cascade Community Healthcare(CCH)has been providing
treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more
than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with
compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense
of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more
satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in
Lewis County.The Cascade Evaluation and Treatment Center provides
intensive mental health and psychiatric services for adults 18 and
older. This 22-bed facility has 16 beds on the evaluation and
treatment unit, and 6 beds on our crisis stabilization unit. We are
looking for a Carpenter & Maintenance Worker to join our team. You
will perform a variety of tasks utilizing carpenter skills to build
and repair various structures and equipment. Lead on agency
building or remodeling projects and assist in maintenance and
grounds work. SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Day Shift, Tuesday - Friday: 7:00am
- 5:30pm PAY SCALE: $21.53 - $26.24, DOE. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE
JOB DONE: Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. A
national background check may be required if you havent lived in WA
State consecutively the last three years. Must have basic
electrical and plumbing knowledge. Must be proficient with basic
maintenance tools, and power tools. Must be able to represent the
agency in a positive and professional manner. Must be able to
communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Must comply with
agency policies and procedures. Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Must have satisfactory
driving record. Must be willing to use personal vehicle as needed.
Mileage will be reimbursed. Must be able to gain access to all
types of buildings and residences regardless of the structures
handicapped accessibility or lack thereof. Must maintain current
home telephone and address on file with the Human Resources
Department. Thorough understanding of the correct and safe
operations of all related tools and equipment. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Ability to communicate the
specifications for projects. Ability to take accurate measurements
and calculations. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Collaborate with supervisor
concerning work orders, agency projects, repairs, and maintenance.
Leads building and remodeling projects under direction of
supervisor. Performs maintenance, inspections, and grounds tasks as
needed or assigned. Moving furniture, building furniture. Responds
to requests for repairs on the first working day following receipt
of request, on a priority basis. Must always work in a safe and
efficient manner to prevent injury to self or others. Never leave
work area unsafe unless the area is secured to prevent access by
others. Never leave buildings unsecured. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to access all areas of buildings and grounds to
identify issues and plan repairs or maintenance. Must be physically
able to perform job functions as assigned. Must be able to work
from a ladder, up to 30 feet. Prolonged periods of standing,
kneeling, squatting, stooping. Reaching above head, bending,
pulling, and pushing. Some job functions and projects may include
lifting heavy objects above shoulders or head. Must be able to lift
approximately 40 pounds at a time. WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT US:
