SpecEd - Special Education teacher School Setting
Department: School Setting
Location: Federal Way, WA
Shift: Day Shift - 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $50 - $60/hr
Contract Duration: 42 weeks
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our school setting in Federal Way, WA. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide instruction, support, and accommodations to help students with disabilities succeed academically.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible educational experience.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements in special education.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Dedication to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
