Epic Special Education Staffing is actively searching for a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role focuses on supporting students with special needs, enhancing their communication abilities, and ensuring their academic and social success. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in speech therapy practices tailored to young learners, along with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents to create inclusive learning environments. Assess students' speech and communication disorders and set educational goals Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective speech therapy strategies Document student progress and adjust plans as needed Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in speech-language pathology Promote inclusive practices in the school community Provide training and support to school staff regarding speech and language development Strong understanding of speech disorders and therapy techniques Ability to create and follow through with individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent collaboration and communication skills Proficiency in using therapeutic technology and tools Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred ASHA certification
