Job Description:

The Seattle Derivative Learning and Tech Data Solutions (LTDS) team seeks an Entry Level Maintenance Engineer to analyze-basic engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions. Position will participate in organizational activities that influence the Aerospace Industry.Primary responsibility will be performing/supporting MSG-3/Maintenance Engineering Statements of Work requirements for military commercial derivative aircraft programs (P-8, KC-46, and VC-25B) in Tukwila, WA.Position Responsibilities:

• Analyzes complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions.
• Assist in influencing product designs and processes to ensure supportability and maintainability.
• Develops and uses fault isolation procedures and techniques.
• Creates systems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding of systems and components.
• Conducts engineering analyses to verify the accuracy of maintenance/repair data.
• Develops and provides technical solutions to customers; evaluates customers' maintenance operations.
• Develops procedures and techniques to allow users to maintain and repair products.
• Oversee the evaluation of engineering data, in-service reliability data regulations to develop the initial minimum scheduled maintenance requirements, product certification and instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA) by performing MSG-3 Analysis
• Provide logistics support input for proposal development and participate in negotiations when required
• Participates in organizational activities that influence the Aerospace Industry.This position is contingent upon award.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering field.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Maintenance experience on Boeing 737, 767 and 747 and/or maintenance experience on military heavy aircraft.
    • Experience in the development and delivery of technical publication products for commercial derivative and/or military aircraft.Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
