Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced/Senior Radio Frequency (Level 3 and 4) Engineer to join the Special Programs & Capabilities team located in Tukwila/Kent, WA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced RF Engineer--located in the Puget Sound in support of multiple Phantom Works programs.-- The position provides an opportunity to work with an experienced, interdisciplinary team to create innovative solutions to meet unique and challenging requirements.-- The team takes ideas and concepts from the drawing board, through analysis and trades, into prototypes and finally producing flight hardware.--Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and validates requirements for various complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electronic/electromagnetic systems and components.
  • Utilize analytical modeling and methods to evaluate performance, inform trades and designs, and support verification of requirements.
  • Analyze ability of platform design to meet operational constraints.
  • Measure performance of materials and subsystems in the laboratory to support design development.
  • Test/verify performance of completed systems/subsystems in the laboratory and in the field.
  • Support Systems Engineering in deriving performance requirements and constraints of the platform and architecture.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Export Control:This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
    • Experience in the design/development of RF systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • Experience with circuit board design with radio frequency (RF) and digital technology
      • Experience with systems architecture, requirements development and test & verification
      • Experience with aerospace RF systems and advanced materials.
      • Experience with the design, modeling, analysis, test and verification of RF electronic systems.
      • Experience utilizing programing languages and analysis environments (e.g. C++, MATLAB, python, etc.) to post-process and analyze modeled or measured data.
      • Experience with laboratory instrumentation and software (e.g. PNA, VNA, Oscilloscopes, LabVIEW, etc.)
      • Active TS/SCI clearance.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
