Job Description Job Description Dalton Refrigeration is looking for a skilled, motivated mechanic to join our growing team! We’re a locally owned business based in Anchorage, Alaska , providing expert refrigeration service and repair throughout the greater Alaska territory. We offer statewide sales and service support for transport refrigeration systems on trucks, trailers, boats, cranes, containers, and just about anything in between. Position Overview As a Mobile Transport Refrigeration Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining transport refrigeration units, including but not limited to Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin, and StarCool systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in the field. Qualifications & Experience Required: Valid driver’s license Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Preferred Experience: Common rail and direct-injection diesel engine maintenance and repair 12VDC and 24VDC electrical troubleshooting and repair 24VAC, 120VAC, 230VAC, and 460VAC troubleshooting and repair Universal Refrigeration Certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Work With Us?
