Overview

Responsibilities
Critical Care at St. Francis includes a 14-bed medical/surgical
intensive care unit and a 16-bed progressive care unit. In the ICU,
we take care of patients who've experienced cardiac arrest,
hypothermia and sepsis. In the PCU, we have a varied
medical/surgical population of cardiac, vascular, pulmonary,
bariatric and sepsis patients. Our ICU registered nurses provide
primary care and we have an RN to patient ratio of 2:1. The PCU has
an RN to patient ratio of 4:1.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
One year of related work experience is preferred
Current WA state Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Current CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), CSC (Cardiac
Surgery) Certification preferred
American Heart Association Healthcare Basic Life Support
certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or attainment within
six months of hire
