Job Description Talent4Health is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Renton, Washington. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 09/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technologist 2 years exp required Required Certifications ARRT, BLS Unit Notes – Cath Lab/IR/EP ??Important: Client will not accept any travelers with license hits related to medication diversion or patient endangerment. Do NOT submit candidates with these history items. Immediate contract cancellation will occur if discovered. Facility Details: - of Suites/Labs: - 3 current rooms - 4th room under construction (completion projected for March) - Hybrid OR room included - Daily Case Volume: - ~17 Cath Lab cases/day - ~22-23 total cases/day across all areas Certifications Required: - Mandatory: ARRT or ICRS - Additional: ACLS Common Patient Diagnoses / Procedure Types: - Cath Lab: - Diagnostic and interventional - Rotablator and shockwave - Impella coming next year - Right heart caths (diagnostic) - IR (Interventional Radiology): - Ports, G-tubes, nephrostomies, biliary drains - Dialysis and other central line placements - Embolizations/coiling (infrequent) - EP (Electrophysiology): - Ablations, pacemakers, temporary pacers - Anesthesia present for every EP case - Travelers only assist in EP if skill-validated by manager Job Duties: - Procedure Nurses: - Circulate and monitor patients - May float to CT, Ultrasound, MRI for procedural assistance - Recovery Nurses: - Work in 17-bed post-procedure unit - Perform conscious sedation (e.g. bone marrow, bronchoscopies, cardioversions) Required Experience/Skills: - Ventilator and pressor management (for procedure room) - Conscious sedation (for recovery nurses) Technology/Systems: - EMR: Epic - Equipment: GE MACLab, Siemens X-ray, PACS Staffing & Call Structure: - Cardiologists: - In-house M–F, 7 AM–7 PM - On-call otherwise - Tech Coverage: - 10 techs per day if fully staffed - 3 techs per procedure room - 2 techs on-call per team - Shifts: - 4x10s (9:00 AM–7:30 PM) - On-call: One weekday per week every 3rd–4th weekend - Overtime available Call Requirements: - Mandatory On-Call: Yes - Response Time: - Procedure Nurses & Techs: 30 minutes - Recovery Nurses: 45 minutes - Holiday Coverage: 1 holiday per year (rotated with perm staff) Miscellaneous: - Floating: None required - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided by the facility - Orientation: ~2 weeks (based on traveler experience) About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
