Mammography Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic at Pacific Medical Centers summary: A Mammography Technologist performs specialized radiological procedures to diagnose and treat breast disease, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include adherence to quality standards and possible engagement in general radiography exams. The role requires specific certifications, including ARRT registration and compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act and FDA regulations. Description This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
