Echocardiograph Technologist at Providence Health and Services
summary: The Echocardiograph Technologist performs transthoracic,
transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms to provide quality
cardiovascular imaging for inpatients and outpatients. They assist
physicians with technical aspects, complete patient documentation,
and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives. The
role requires accredited ultrasound training and national
certification, offering a supportive healthcare environment with
comprehensive benefits. Description Provides quality care to
patients. Performs transthoracic echocardiograms proficiently on
inpatients and outpatients. Assists physicians with technical
aspect of transesophageal echocardiograms and stress
echocardiograms. Completes patient worksheets and processes reports
according to department guidelines. Participates in the development
of the Echocardiology department by active participation in quality
improvement. Works closely with the Cardiovascular Imaging Manager
on all issues affecting the department. Providence caregivers are

Qualifications: A degree from a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
Program or a program that is accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American
Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, Or National
Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon
hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience performing adult
echocardiography. Experience with transesophageal and stress
