General Job Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury and electrolyte imbalances. Minimum Education Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Fellowship in nephrology. License & Certifications: Board certification in nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
