Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) – Locum Tenens Contract General Pediatrics | 4x10-Hour Days | No Call Rhino Medical is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for a locum tenens contract opportunity at an outpatient pediatric clinic. This role is ideal for PNPs who enjoy general pediatrics and want a flexible schedule with full-time or part-time options available — no call, no weekends, no nights. Opportunity Snapshot: Position: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Contract Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: March 2026 Contract Length: 3–6 months Schedule Options: Full-Time OR 2 weeks per month Shift: 4x10-hour days (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Clinic EMR: Epic Call: None Support Staff: 1 MA or RN plus front desk staff Pediatric Practice Environment This is a new outpatient pediatric service line with a supportive ramp-up period as the practice builds volume. Providers will see a goal of 16–18 patients per day once fully established, with dedicated MA or RN support and front desk staff. The focus is on delivering high-quality primary care to pediatric patients in a collaborative, well-supported clinic environment. Key Responsibilities Include: Perform well-child exams and routine preventive care across pediatric age groups Evaluate and manage acute illness visits (sick visits, infections, injuries) Manage chronic conditions including asthma, diabetes, ADHD, and developmental concerns Order and interpret age-appropriate diagnostic tests and screenings Provide immunizations and anticipatory guidance per AAP guidelines Educate patients and families on health maintenance, growth, and development Collaborate with supervising physicians and care team members Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR Candidate Requirements: Required: Active state license in WA Board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC or PNP-AC) General pediatrics experience including well-child care and chronic disease management Current BLS certification Epic EMR experience preferred Preferred: Outpatient pediatric clinic experience Experience with ADHD management and developmental assessments Comfortable building volume in a new service line environment Skills & Abilities: Strong clinical assessment skills across pediatric age groups Excellent communication with children and families Comfortable managing a diverse pediatric caseload independently Ability to work efficiently in a growing practice environment Detail-oriented documentation practices Why This Assignment?
