Medical Assistant Location: Everett, WA Agency: Pride Health Pay: $25 to $29 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Everett, WA 98201. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Job Name: Medical Assistant Location: Everett, WA 98201 Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension) Pay rate: $25-$29/hour. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications). Schedule: 8:30 am to 5 pm/ Mon to Fri (5 days/wk.) Job Description: Room patients and prepare them for examination by obtaining and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and temperature. Verify and update patient information such as medications, allergies, and medical history in the electronic health record (EHR). Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are stocked and sanitized according to infection control protocols. Assist providers with patient care procedures, examinations, and minor office treatments. Handle patient paperwork, including consent forms, referrals, and visit documentation. Coordinate patient flow to optimize provider efficiency and maintain a positive patient experience. Support additional clinical duties such as specimen collection, performing EKGs, and administering injections (if applicable and certified). Must have qualifications/experience: MA-C or MA-R. 1 year experience as an MA preferred.
