Permanent Physician Hospitalist OB

Position Type: Permanent

Shift: 24-hour shifts (6 8 shifts per month)

• Patient Population: Obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Setting: Hospital-based (Swedish Medical Center First Hill and Swedish Issaquah)
• Responsibilities: Provide OB/GYN hospitalist care, manage labor & deliveries, surgical assists, obstetric emergencies, triage, routine GYN procedures, collaborate with MFM team, teaching residents and fellows
• Required Procedures: Deliveries, surgical assists, obstetric emergency management, diagnostic laparoscopy, routine GYN procedures
• EMR System: Not specified
• Support Staff: Maternal-Fetal Medicine team, OB providers, residents, fellows, hospital clinical staff
• Days Per Month: 6 8 shifts
• On-Call/Weekends: Included within 24-hour shifts

Submission Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Washington state license (or willing to obtain)
• NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
• DEA (prior to start)
