Job Description:
Job Description Possible Qualifying Bonus (interview to find out
the possible amounts) Summary: Responsible for reviewing,
monitoring and processing loan applications as well as all
activities associated with credit and collection process of
receivables within established guidelines by performing the
following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Verifies loan and
credit documentation and verification has been received to include:
two recent pay stubs for each applicant; applicant(s) signature on
all pages of application; employment and income verification; proof
of insurance; ODL; six references to include: name, address, phone
number and relationship to borrower; landlord name and phone
number; photocopy of phone bill; and any other documentation as it
pertains to each individual file. 2. Enters application information
accurately into the computer. 3. Submits loan applications to
appropriate buyer. 4. Makes copies of loan packages as necessary.
5. Reviews and follows up conditions of loan applications to verify
conditions are met. 6. Monitors accounts receivable summary for
delinquency through related reports on a regular basis. 7.
Initiates appropriate collection activity via past due notices,
telephone and other correspondence with customer. 8. Negotiates
payment terms with customers in accordance with established
guidelines to minimize potential legal action or repossession. 9.
Notifies customers of non-sufficient fund checks, arranges for an
alternative method of payment and assesses charges to accounts. 10.
Researches and provides documentation on credit accounts as
requested to include current financial information and credit
reports. 11. Receives and responds to credit and collection related
inquiries in a prompt manner. 12. Creates and maintains proper
response letters on computer for various incoming correspondence.
13. Door knocks or chases accounts when needed. 14. Performs
re-marketing repossessions. 15. Performs other related duties as
assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an

school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prior loan
processing or related experience required. Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to
speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of
organization. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and
amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability
to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an
individual should have knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Suite.
