Product Manager, Technical - ITOM and AIOps
This role is pivotal in redefining operational excellence through automation, intelligence, and platform enablement. The product leader will focus on observability, configuration management, and AI-based operations strategy, connecting infrastructure health, service reliability, and real-time insights to evolve IT operations.
As a strategic, data-driven, and technically skilled product manager, you will define and execute the product roadmap for ITOM and AIOps capabilities, including Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, Health Log Analytics, and CMDB/CSDM strategy. Collaboration with Engineering, Architecture, and Business teams is essential to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities

  • Vision, Strategy, and Analysis: Own the product vision for T-Mobile's ITOM and AIOps ecosystem, focusing on automation and real-time service intelligence. Prioritize features based on customer needs and operational data. Analyze trends in observability and AI/ML to craft long-term strategies. Communicate technical and business value effectively to leadership.
  • Customer Evangelist: Engage with internal users to gather feedback and drive user-centered improvements. Advocate for operational needs by integrating telemetry and proactive issue detection into product planning. Use data analytics to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Product Execution & Technical Delivery: Translate technical requirements into actionable features aligned with business goals. Maintain a prioritized backlog, monitor KPIs, and ensure product quality and scalability through close collaboration with development teams.
  • Relationship & People, Professional Development: Build relationships across teams, mentor members, and represent ITOM products in strategic forums. Promote adoption and knowledge sharing.
  • Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent. 3+ years in a technical role, 5+ years in product management within agile environments.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Deep understanding of ITOM & AIOps ecosystems, strong technical proficiency, experience with agile practices, excellent communication, and data analysis skills.
  • Certifications: CSPO or Scrum Master preferred; ServiceNow ITOM or CSDM certification highly preferred; additional cloud or observability certifications are a plus.

    Additional Details
    Travel may be required occasionally. The role is not DOT regulated or safety-sensitive.
    Base pay range: $103,400 - $186,400 with a 15% bonus target. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
