Operations Engineer I

Job Description:

Seeking an Operations Engineer I for one of Seattle's leading retailers!
 
Key Responsibilities:
Process incoming Work Orders, Service Requests and Incidents following existing SLA’s and escalation process
Work closely with engineering team members to engage and escalate following existing guidelines/SLA’s
Process incoming work utilizing our corporate ITIL tools and process
Proactively work to meet team metrics and goals
Look for opportunities to improve processes, automate recurring issues and improve the efficiency of the team
 
Requirements:
DNS/DHCP
Basic understanding of PowerShell
SCOM
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team while being individually accountable for assigned work
Willingness to collaborate and adapt to change
Available to participate in on call rotation
Basic understanding of systems, network and server operating systems
Basic knowledge of scripting, automation and monitoring platforms
Ability to troubleshoot issues and apply logical problem solving
