(Contract-to-Hire) A global law firm has partnered with LHH and is
seeking an attorney with advanced Japanese language proficiency -
spoken, written, and reading - to support various practice areas on
a long-term engagement. This position offers consistent full-time
work, the ability to collaborate across multiple groups, and a
pathway to transition into permanent position. About the Role This
attorney will partner with multiple practice groups and support
attorneys handling diverse client matters that require fluent
Japanese communication. This is a client-facing role requiring
exceptional professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to adapt to
changing needs. Key Responsibilities • Translate and review
documents in Japanese and English • Provide Japanese-language
support across multiple legal practice areas • Communicate with
clients and internal stakeholders in a professional, clear manner •
Assist with research, document review, drafting, and project-based
assignments • Work independently while maintaining high accuracy
and confidentiality • Collaborate with attorneys across the firm
and support ongoing projects as needed • Deliver consistent weekly
availability and meet project requirements Ideal Candidate Profile
• Professional fluency in spoken, written, and reading Japanese •
Background in corporate, in-house counsel, or general business law
roles helpful • Strong client service approach and the ability to
build long-term relationships • Excellent communication and
organizational skills • Comfortable working across multiple types
of matters • Looking for a long-term, stable engagement with
advancement potential Licensing & Location Requirements Candidates
must: • Be actively licensed and in good standing • Be able to work
fully remote • Not engage in any concurrent legal work during this
assignment Work Schedule • Up to 40 hours per week depending on
project needs • Fully remote role • Occasional collaboration across
firm practice groups Job Details Pay Rate: $70 - $95/hr (W2) Hours:
Approximately 40 hours per week Employment Type: Contract, with
potential long-term conversion *Benefit offerings include medical,

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, any other paid
leave required by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay
