Job Description Job Description URGENT NEED Job Summary We are
seeking an experienced Yard Jockey to support day-to-day yard and
warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for
safely moving loaded and empty trailers to and from dock doors and
designated yard areas using a powered industrial truck. In
addition, you may also assist in the warehouse as needed to ensure
accurate, damage-free inbound and outbound shipments. This position
requires a valid Class A CDL and proven forklift experience.
Candidates must be comfortable operating multiple types of powered
industrial equipment and positioning themselves to drive backward
for extended periods. Key Requirements: Minimum 2 years of spotter,
yard hostler, or related experience. Valid Class A CDL and forklift
experience (stand-up, sit-down, reach truck). Ability to sit on a
powered industrial truck for long periods. Ability to follow
instructions and maintain complete, legible records. Strong
attention to safety to prevent injury to self or others. Ability to
drive backward for extended periods; strong distance and height
judgment. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. when
necessary. Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the
season. Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 1:00pm-9:30pm or job
