Procurement Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing
Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Senior
Manager to join our Wire Bundle Contracts and Operations team in
Everett , WA . Lead a team of highly motivated procurement
professionals in supply chain contracts and operations for the BCA
wire bundle category. This team operates in a dynamic environment,
partnering with multiple organizations including Fabrication/ESRC,
airplane programs, category strategy, quality and engineering. Own
the relationship with multiple international suppliers and
execution of strategic activities including, BASN implementation,
rate readiness and production stability enhancements for the
category, as well as leading the team through the upcoming
commercial agreements supporting the next decade of BCA wire bundle
production. Our team is currently hiring for a Level M Procurement
Manager. Position Responsibilities: Acts as an authorized agent of
the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related
activities and the authority to commit company resources through
contracts and agreements. Manages employees and mid-level managers
from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines
performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and
services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and
performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain
management and processes and supplier diversity. Develops and
executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures
and guides the development of business and technical strategies,
goals and objectives. Acquires resources for organizational
activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads
process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and
partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and
direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical
approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding
negotiation strategies, processes and related tools. Manages,
develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers. This
position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will
be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements,
therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is
required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications ( Required
Skills / Experience): 5 years of experience with Supplier
Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
5 years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or
executive leadership 10 years of experience in leading through
influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects,
transactions or initiatives 10 years of experience demonstrating
exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Domestic and international 15-20% travel as needed Preferred
Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ): Bachelor’s Degree
or Advanced Degree 10 years of experience in Microsoft Office
