Description Robert Half has partnered with a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance field, to fill an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, your efforts will become an important part to the success of a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. Located in Federal Way, Washington, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Key responsibilities- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Execute additional tasks as needed- Carry out a full-cycle A/P- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Assist with internal and external audits as needed Requirements - Solid understanding of data entry- Microsoft Office Suites experience- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred- High attention to detail Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
