Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing - Lean & Six Sigma
Black Belt in Burlington, Washington.
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Schedule:
Fully onsite in Burlington, WA. (Relocation Assistance Offered)
Standard hours are generally 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, but flexibility is
expected (e.g., 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM/7:00 PM) with more than 40 hours
per week.
Travel: Up to 30% travel required to support other sites and
projects (e.g., about 2 trips, 4-5 days each).
Compensation:
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year.
Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus of 8-10%.
Relocation Assistance provided
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years in a dedicated Black Belt role (e.g., Black Belt,
Ops Excellence Leader, Lean Manager, Six Sigma Manager) working in
a Process Improvement, Quality, or Operational Excellence
organization.
Minimum 5 years in a company with a strong, recognized Lean & Six
Sigma program and culture.
Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience managing
large-scale, cross-functional projects.
Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.
Demonstrated Minitab proficiency and experience teaching Minitab to
others. (Minitab usage will be quizzed).
Manufacturing experience is required.
Strong understanding and application of PDCA, A3, Six Sigma DMAIC
methodologies.
Experience with Hoshin Planning or other strategy deployment
methodologies.
As a Corporate Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt, you will:
Participate in the company's Long-Term and Mid-Term Strategy
Deployment process and facilitate Annual Hoshin Planning
processes.
Identify, align, prioritize, and plan Lean & Six Sigma project and
kaizen targets based on strategic planning.
Lead Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt high-impact projects (targeting
-$500K+/project).
Coach and support other belts in applying methodologies, closing
projects, and achieving certification.
Manage Lean & Six Sigma project decks and funnels to meet
operational and financial goals.
Assist site management with Root-Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective
Actions (CA), and improvements in asset utilization and line
flow.
Support Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, Safety, Product
Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams.
Manage budget targets and financial reporting for Lean & Six Sigma
projects and Kaizen.
