scale.Senior UX Researcher - Seattle (or remote PST)Research is
central to our product culture at RentSpree, helping shape what we
build and why. As a**Senior UX Researcher**, you'll be a strategic
partner to crossfunctional teams, delivering robust and actionable
insights that inform decisions across the product lifecycle. Your
work will directly influence how we understand and serve our users
- agents, landlords, and renters alike.We're seeking a**skilled
mixed-methods researcher**who thrives in a lean, fast-moving
environment and knows how to prioritize, plan, and execute research
that has real business and user impact. You're a great fit for this
role if you thrive on ownership, move with urgency, and have a high
bar for quality without letting perfection slow progress.We have a
strong preference for Seattle-based hires (hybrid,2x/week
in-office) but are open to exceptional remote hires based in
PST.What You'll Do
- Identify high-impact research opportunities: Ensure we're
asking the right questions to move the work forward and uncover
meaningful insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams: Deeply understand product
goals, user needs, and the broader business context
- Plan with purpose: Scope timelines that balance depth and
speed, focusing effort where it will have the greatest impact
- Lead end-to-end research initiatives: Own the full research
process, from defining the right methods to delivering insights
that shape product direction across the lifecycle
- Communicate insights effectively: Craft compelling narratives
that drive alignment and inform decision-making at all levels
- Champion research quality: Uphold high standards while adapting
to the pace and constraints of a fast-moving startup
environment
- Contribute to our design team's culture and strategy ,
fostering collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learningOur job

(Required)
- 5+ years of experience conducting research for digital
products, preferably in fast-paced, startup or scale-up
environments
- Strong strategic thinking: You know how to connect user
insights to business goals and product strategy
- High research rigor paired with pragmatism: You know when to go
deep and when to move fast
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills , capable of
translating complex findings to diverse audiences
- Collaborative mindset: You excel as a collaborative team player
and a self-starter, and know what it means to be both
simultaneously
- Adaptability: You navigate ambiguity with confidence and adjust
quickly as priorities shift
- Bias for action: You take initiative, move ideas forward, and
focus on impact
- Growth mindset: You continuously evolve your skills, embrace

- Experience designing and building tools in small, fast-moving
teams
- Background inbehavioral sciences, such as psychology,
anthropology, or sociology
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops and cross-functional
