your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking
Senior Flight Line Paint Operations Managers (Level L) to support
the Everett Delivery Center Paint team in Everett, Washington on
2nd shift.This assignment will support the Everett Delivery Center
Decorative Paint team. The candidate will lead up to 6 managers and
approximately 100 hourly staff. They will create a strategic plan
to support customer needs and verify that teams are maintaining a
safe and compliant work environment while meeting our customer
schedule commitments.In this position you will ensure that products
are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by
overseeing final paint component installation, systems operation
functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting,
repair, and preparation for delivery.Position Responsibilities:
- Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification
for airworthiness by overseeing final decorative paint livery
installation, paint material application functional and quality
conformance, repair, and preparation for customer presentation
- Interfaces with engineering, management, suppliers, and
customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer
acceptance
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies
and procedures and provides input on departmental business and
technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides
technical management of team and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with
customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products
and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level
managers
- This position is expected to be 100% onsiteBasic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working in the aerospace industry
- 5+ years of experience in leading and/or managing a team
- 5+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or
non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational
problems
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products such as
Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to pass and complete fall protection training and work
with heights of 70 feet or more and not exceed weight
restrictions
- Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
(including weekends and overtime)Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with customers
- Experience working with large cross-functional teams
- Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 monthsDrug Free
