Job Description:
MacKay Sposito is seeking a Civil Engineer - EIT to join our
growing Transportation and Public Works team. We have some
fantastic projects on the horizon and we are looking for a bright
and collaborative individual to add to our already talented team.

Keys to Success:
Excited about and able to quickly learn new skills.
Ability to understand and resolve engineering problems and apply
approved engineering methods and standards
Work under the supervision and guidance of professional
engineers
Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and
construction methods to ensure compliance to code and design
requirements and safety regulations.
Ability to actively manage individual tasks assigned to meet
deadlines, communicate, and work effectively in a team
environment.
Prepare engineering designs and specifications on assigned portions
of a project accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare construction cost estimates including calculating
quantities and determining unit costs.
Develop reports, memos and other project documentation.
Provide analytical assessment of complex engineering data such as
design calculations, specifications, and other technical data.
Ability to build and maintain professional co-worker and client
relationships.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, or
related field.
Have a good understanding of the primary disciplines of civil
engineering
Preferred 1+ years of experience in Civil Engineering EIT
Certification preferred
Preferred experience in Public Works transportation and utility
projects.
Ability to develop project drawings, plans, specifications, and
calculations.
Strong aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with AutoCAD
and Civil 3D -
Excellent computer, writing, communication and customer service
skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general
guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and
qualifications, as well as various market and business
considerations.
The wage range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr depending on
experience and placement in an Engineering I - Engineering IV job
title.
Full time employees receive a - well rounded benefit package
