Sr. Virtualization ArchitectCategory: Information TechnologyType: Employee W-2Description:The ideal candidate for the Sr. Virtualization Architect position is passionate about technology, especially virtualization. The engineer will be responsible for deploying virtual infrastructure solutions, providing project status updates, and participating in pre-sales discussions as needed. The architect will deliver project outcomes as defined.Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with VMware, Citrix, and/or Microsoft products and technologies in an enterprise environment, including network administration, design, troubleshooting, and virtualization architecture design, especially with VMware solutions.
• Solid understanding of server and storage networking.
• Experience managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual infrastructures.
• Experience designing and deploying enterprise hypervisors such as VMware, Hyper-V, and XenServer.
• Hands-on experience with vSphere, Hyper-V, and XenServer.
• Experience with virtualization tools and automation like vCloud Director, SRM, Orchestrator, PowerCLI, etc.
• Experience with VMware vCOPs and VMware vCAC is preferred.
• Proven ability to create datacenter solutions that address business continuity, availability, and performance challenges.
• Consulting background is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of system architecture.
• Comfortable interfacing with customers and translating their requirements into designs and solutions.
• Strong time management skills and a team-oriented mentality.
• Cisco UCS implementation and/or certification is preferred.
• Experience with VCE or other engineered solutions is preferred.Certifications:

• VMware certification is required; a current VCP is preferred.
• Hyper-V and XenServer certifications are a plus.Location:Redmond, WA
