Cost Accountant at Carbon Robotics you'll play a critical role in
owning and executing all cost accounting activities for the
business. This role is hands-on and critical to maintaining
accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and margin integrity
in a manufacturing environment. What you'll do : Own end-to-end
cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory, WIP, COGS,
reserves, and reconciliation Maintain, roll, and validate costs:
ensure accuracy of BoMs, routing, labor, and overhead rates Lead
monthly and quarterly cost close, including manufacturing variances
and inventory accounting Perform detailed variance analysis (PPV,
material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption) and
communicate root causes Partner with manufacturing, supply chain,
and field operations teams to track cost drivers and identify
opportunities for improvement Ensure inventory controls and
accurate valuation across warehouses Partner with FP&A on
budgets, forecast, and long-range cost planning Ensure compliance
with U.S. GAAP and internal controls; support audits as required
Prepare executive-level reporting and ad-hoc analyses for
leadership Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success: Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5 years of cost
accounting experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and
inventory control Experience working with NetSuite (ERP), Arena
(PLM), Tulip (MES) Proficient in Excel and financial modeling
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate
across teams and locations CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is

different from what are posted. The compensation range outlined is
based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends
on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview
assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements.
Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon
Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits
premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions
for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year.
